The Slow Food group celebrates the joy of real food.
Slow Food activities include:
- Cooking demonstrations, where members meet to share knowledge of preparing dishes using a theme or ingredient (and of course, share the delicious results!)
- Outings such as visits to local producers or cooking experts. Previous outings included visiting a chestnut farm, learning to cook delicious bread and pastries at 210 Degrees Patisserie, and a visit to the delicious Poachers Pantry.
And in 2015 the Slow Foodies hosted a delicious anniversary dinner for Sunday Assembly Canberra, serving a home-cooked feast to over 40 happy diners.
