November 2017 event: Decisions

This assembly will be an interactive, participatory session to deliberate on the role and format of Sunday Assembly Canberra and decide on the future. It will be structured to help us work through and come to collective decisions. It will also be a continuation of the AGM (but it will be fun and engaging!).

All are welcome!

Come along if you have a stake in Sunday Assembly, if you have ideas for how to take it forward, if you’re considering being part of the new organising committee, or if you’re just interested in how groups make collective decisions. We’ll make sure we keep some of our favourite assembly elements – there will be songs, and there will be cake!

Whether you’re able to attend the November assembly or not, we would also encourage anyone who’s been to Sunday Assembly Canberra, or who’s even thought about it, to put their thinking caps on and gather some thoughts about:

1)   What is the value proposition of Sunday Assembly Canberra? What need does it fill/good does it provide that other organisations in Canberra don’t?

2)   What changes would make Sunday Assembly Canberra more valuable/relevant/interesting to people?

If you’re not able to attend, please email these thoughts in to us. This is your opportunity to share your views on our past successes and future direction.

Thanks to those who gave us input last month. That was super useful (and inspiring) and we will make sure it’s part of this discussion. Those who can come, bring your ideas along.
