Sunday Assembly - Wonder More - Book Club

In 2017 the Sunday Assembly, wonder more book club will meet at Tilley's cafe at 3 pm on the first Sunday of each month.  Some months we will be discussing a pre-selected book from the ACT libraries independent book club list. Other months we will be discussing a book chosen by the group.

Most of the books have been borrowed from ACT libraries independent book club facility, and are free,  though it does mean that you will need to hand the books back at the following discussion group so they can be passed on to other independent book clubs.  Books selected by the group will need to be purchased/borrowed independently.

We plan to use questions to stimulate discussion about the book.  We aim to have open ended questions with no right or wrong answers.

For example - "What do you think the tree symbolised?"

It can be very interesting to discover how different people interpret the same book.

Here is a summary list of the meeting dates

2nd April - The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks

7th May - The course of Love

4th June - Austerlitz

2nd July - Group Selected Book

6th August - The pages

3rd September - The Turning
